Nature inspired rings are becoming increasingly popular. We have had many clients build their own ring who are drawn to nature. Creating a ring that incorporates elements such as floral motifs or vine designs really speaks volumes. Imagine a ring with delicate petals or a band that looks like intertwined leaves, or a band that is wave-like, a node to the sea.
The Laurel Ring was created to reflect a flower, with it's soft rose gold petals. The ruby centre stone is the real hero of this engagement ring.
The Theresa Ring is another favourite of ours. Our client came to us and expressed how his fiancé is drawn to forestry colours and loves the green colours in nature. You can not tell the difference between a lab grown and natural diamond, not even a trained gemologist can determine the difference. It takes thousand of dollars worth of machinery to distinguish the difference between the two types of diamonds.

During your in-person, over-the-phone, or video consultation, we'll delve into your design vision and engagement ring dreams. This is also the time to explore and select diamonds or coloured gemstones in your desired shape and price point.
Step Three — Sourcing
With a complete understanding of your dream ring, we'll source the highest quality diamond or coloured gemstone from our global network of ethically sourced lab-grown and natural diamonds. We'll then provide you with a quote that fits your budget.
Step Four — Design
We'll collaborate with you until you're completely satisfied with the final design, no matter how many changes are needed. You'll receive a professional drawing of your ring, outlining all the specifications.

We love it when the calendar ticks over to a new month. The 1st of every month heralds in a new birthstone. If you are lucky enough to be born in June you have three stones to choose from: pearl, alexandrite and moonstone.
So what is so special about each of these stones?
Pearl
Appearance — Pearls are organic gemstones formed within mollusks. They are known for their lustrous and smooth surface, which can come in various colours, including white, cream, pink, and black.
Significance — Pearls are associated with purity, wisdom, and loyalty. They have been valued for centuries for their elegance and natural beauty.
Alexandrite
Appearance — Alexandrite is a rare and unique gemstone known for its remarkable colour-changing ability. It appears green in daylight and changes to red or purplish-red under incandescent light.

Variety — Pearls come in various colours and types, including Akoya, South Sea, Tahitian, and freshwater pearls, providing options for customisation.

Durability — Pearls are relatively soft compared to other gemstones, ranking about 2.5-4.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. They can be easily scratched, chipped, or damaged with daily wear, which is a significant consideration for an engagement ring intended for everyday use.

It is very rare that alexandrite or moonstones are requested to be set into an engagement ring; however, either stones can be placed within the engagement ring band as a special hidden stone. We do not use pearls as hidden stones due to the explanation above.

If you or your partner loves the look of pearls and is willing to take the necessary precautions to protect them, a pearl engagement ring can be a beautiful and meaningful option. Was there anything in particular that drew you to work with us?
"I first came across your Instagram page a couple of years ago. Aside from thinking your jewellery was beautiful, I loved that Morgan & Co is a small, independent, female-led business. It was evident you both really care and want the whole experience of choosing a ring to be personal. The fact you source diamonds ethically was also really important."
Which ring did you choose/design for your forever piece, and why?
"We initially came into the studio together and met with Morgan and Laura, and I tried on lots of different rings to get an idea of what I liked.
When I put the marquise ring on, I unexpectedly got really emotional and we all knew then, it was the one! Then Jack worked with you to design the final ring - a custom made 14ct white gold engagement ring featuring a 1.08ct natural marquise." — View The Sky Ring.
What was your favourite part of your Morgan & Co experience?
"Spending hours in the studio chatting with Morgan and Laura about everything during the initial consultation. They felt like family friends that we had known forever! We came away with so much knowledge and it was great to feel so involved in the process."
Tell us a little bit about your proposal.
"Jack proposed during a stopover in Zürich. We were in the Old Town by the river, with views out to the Swiss Alps - it was beautiful. We were then able to celebrate with all our friends and family back home in England afterwards which was really special."
