Terms of service

LIFETIME WARRANTY ON BAND & SETTING

We offer a lifetime manufacturing warranty on band and setting providing you have your jewellery checked by us once per year so that we can ensure the claws and integrity of the ring is sound. This warranty does not apply to wear and tear from everyday use, it applies to manufacturing faults only. Like all precious items, your jewellery needs care too.

We recommend you bring your jewellery in to be checked for wear and tear once a year. If you are particularly hard on your jewellery, you should have it checked more often. If you suspect that it has been damaged we recommend you bring it in immediately for checking. This is a good opportunity for our professional team to check your piece for any loose stones or damage, the condition of which will be noted on your file.

As a part of our servicing warranty, we offer a complimentary stone tightening and polish (to an undamaged ring) on all of our engagement and wedding rings. It is recommended that an annual service is taken to ensure your pieces are in good condition.

Lost, damaged, or chipped diamonds and stones are not covered under our warranty. For the very unlikely event of your focal stone falling out or becoming damaged, personal insurance is highly advised.

PRODUCTION TIMEFRAMES

Morgan & Co’s pieces are made to order.  The customer accepts the relevant production time frame estimates for their piece. Please note that turnaround times are an approximate guide and are subject to change or delay. Shipping time frames are not included in our production time frame estimates.

QUALITY & PERFORMANCE OF PRODUCTS

Each Morgan & Co piece will undergo thorough quality control checks to ensure we remain consistent with our mission to produce timeless jewellery pieces. We work closely with our design team and jewellers to ensure our high-quality standards are consistent throughout the manufacturing process.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES - MADE TO ORDER

Morgan & Co do not issue refunds, store credit, or exchanges for any custom made engagement ring, wedding band or fine jewellery order. We kindly ask that you choose carefully – we will be happy to assist in any questions you have about our pieces. Customer satisfaction is very important to us. If you aren’t happy with your item, please contact us and we will work together to resolve the issue.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

It is hereby agreed upon between parties that refunds for cancellations are not offered due to the nature of the product. Morgan & Co is not able to recoup losses incurred by purchasing on behalf of clientele.

DELAYS

It is agreed upon between parties that Morgan & Co shall not be held responsible for deadlines stated by the client. Goods in transit, alterations, material sourcing, client approvals for CAD designs, metal casting and stone setting are all subject to delays in production timeframes. Morgan & Co will not be held responsible for delays in production timeframes for reasons that are out of our control. We recommend allowing ample time for the production of bespoke jewellery pieces when placing orders in preparation for special events.

RESIZING AND REMANUFACTURING

Morgan & Co stress the importance of confirming the correct size prior to undergoing our manufacturing process. However, we understand that this can be difficult due to the nature of the product itself, so therefore Morgan & Co do offer complimentary resizes for all of our Bespoke pieces.  Our complimentary resizing offer is valid within 6 months from the date that the ring was dispatched from our studio. Complimentary resizes are subject to the ring being within our resizing parameters, if the ring is outside of these parameters it may be necessary to re-manufacture the piece in order to maintain the structural integrity of the piece. Resizing parameters can differentiate subject to the setting style and initial size of the ring. Morgan & Co will not resize one of our rings if we feel as if it will compromise the structural integrity of the ring itself. For all engagement rings dispatched within 6-months that require re-manufacture, a discounted re-manufacture rate will apply. After the initial 6-months have come to pass from the date of dispatch, our standard repairs and resizing fee structure will be in effect. The costs related to undergo repairs, resizes and re-manufactures differentiate subject to the metal type and setting style. Resized pieces that require rhodium plating will be charged at cost.

Heirloom Jewellery Repairs —

Please note that with older heirloom pieces, any repairs we make are considered a temporary solution rather than a full restoration. Unless the piece is remade from scratch, it won’t be perfect and structural issues may continue to occur. Re-shanking strengthens the band but does not reinforce the setting — so if a stone becomes loose or is lost, it’s due to the age and condition of the original piece, not the work we’ve done. We can only repair what is possible for the piece we are presented with.

CAD Fees —

CAD design fees are incorporated into the overall cost of a jewellery piece when a design progresses through to production and completion. However, if a client chooses not to proceed with crafting and requests a refund of their deposit, the refund will be issued less the design fees, time, and resources incurred to date.

Once a piece has moved into production, the 50% deposit becomes non-refundable. If the order is cancelled after crafting has commenced, the deposit will be forfeited.

Heirloom Engagement Ring: Warranty & Craftsmanship Guarantee

At Morgan Co Jewellery, we understand that your engagement ring is more than a piece of jewellery, it is a continuation of your family’s history. We are honoured to have had the privilege of working with your cherished heirloom stones to create this unique piece.

Because we stand behind our craftsmanship, we provide the following limited warranty to ensure your ring remains a beautiful part of your story for years to come.

Our Warranty Coverage

Lifetime Warranty on the Metal Band

We guarantee the integrity of the metal band against any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. Should the band require repair due to a structural flaw occurring under normal wear, we will repair or replace the metal component at no cost to you for the lifetime of the piece.

Three Month Setting Guarantee for Heirloom Stones

Because your heirloom stones are unique and irreplaceable, we provide a specialized 3-month craftsmanship warranty on the setting. During this initial 90-day period, we will secure, tighten, or adjust the settings of your heirloom stones at no charge to ensure they are perfectly stabilised for your daily wear.

Protecting Your Legacy

While we take great care in our craft, jewellery is subject to natural wear and tear. To protect your ring from unexpected events like accidental loss, theft, or damage to the ring or stones we strongly recommend obtaining specialised jewellery insurance.

Unlike standard homeowners' or renters' insurance, dedicated jewellery policies are designed to cover the unique risks associated with engagement rings. They offer peace of mind, allowing you to wear your ring every day, knowing you are fully protected if the unexpected happens.

Maintaining Your Warranty

To keep this warranty active, we ask that you bring your ring into our studio for a professional inspection at least once every twelve months. These complimentary check-ups allow us to:

  • Inspect prongs and settings for signs of wear.

  • Clean and polish the metal to maintain its brilliance.

  • Catch minor issues before they become significant repairs.

This warranty is void if any jeweller other than Morgan & Co Jewellery alters, repairs, or services the piece.

We are truly honoured to have played a part in your journey. If you have any questions regarding your warranty or the care of your ring, please do not hesitate to contact us.
