December, unlike other months, is blessed with having not one but three  mesmerising birthstones: tanzanite, turquoise, and zircon.

Tanzanite 

Tanzinite is known for its deep blue to violet colours. Tanzanite is only found in one place on earth, hence its name. Tanzanite symbolises spiritual awakening and communication, a quality very important in a marriage. 

Turquoise 

Turquoise is one of the oldest known gem stones used in jewellery for thousands of years. Its blue green colours are mesmerising. This stone is believed to bring good fortune and protection to those who wear it. 

Zircon

Zircon comes in many beautiful colours, however the blue hues are most popular for the month of December. This stone has a high brilliance and a fire like no other stone.  Zircon has a similar name to Cubic Zirconia, however Zirconia is a man made stone unlike Zircon.
