Tiana & Luke’s Wedding: Simple, Beautiful & Unforgettable

3 min read

Some wedding stories are best told in the couple’s own words, captured simply through reflection after the day has passed. Tiana and Luke’s wedding at Riley’s View, Mount Kilcoy is one of those stories; calm, considered, and deeply present from beginning to end. Through their responses, a picture forms of a day that unfolded effortlessly, anchored in connection, meaningful details, and time spent truly together.

Tiana Reflects on Their Wedding Day

How did you feel waking up the morning of your wedding day?

Tiana: "Calm, excited, relaxed and at ease."

Where did you get married? Location and venue?

Tiana: "Riley’s View, Mount Kilcoy."

Tell us about your dress - what style did you choose, and how did you feel in it?

Tiana: "Gown: Claribel by Olya Mark - A modern, minimalist gown that features a sculpted off-shoulder neckline, draped bodice, and a sleek, structural silhouette with a long train and pearl details."

What song did you walk down the aisle to?

Tiana: " You’re still the one - acoustic version (sung live by our musicians, The Dannies)"

What was your partner's reaction to seeing your dress and seeing you walk down the aisle?

Tiana: "Smitten."

Do you have a favourite memory or standout moment from  your wedding day?

Tiana: " The entire day flowed, and felt truly effortless. The one on one moments with my husband and I were everything and more, especially during the quality-time we had when getting our photos taken after the ceremony. Those special moments of running into the sunset together, dancing by the river and being carried through the fields of grass were incredibly memorable, touching and will stay in our hearts forever. Honouring and celebrating our love for each other, and being able to celebrate with the ones we love who have helped shape us into the people we are today, was truly so special."

Who were your wedding vendors? (venue, makeup, florist etc):

Tiana:

"Photographer: Kelly Anne Photography

Videographer: Wylde Oak Videography

Florist: Wild Rose Floral (Pele)

Makeup artist: Amanda Claire

Celebrant: LoveWorx (Kath)

Venue and organisers: Riley’s View, Mount Kilcoy (Jenny & Kevin)

Musicians: The Dannies"

Tell us about your wedding bands - what do you love most about them?

Tiana: "There unique to us, so incredibly beautiful, and our goal was for the details and design to represent a part of who we are so we can adore our rings each and everyday to come. I truly fall in love with both my engagement ring & wedding band more & more everyday."

What stood out most to you about working with Morgan & Co?

Tiana: "The time they offer to have face to face meetings, the check-in communication and the ability to freely create something unique and special to us."

What moment from the day do you wish you could relive again?

Tiana: " The moments we got after the ceremony together being in each others arms watching the sunset and running in the fields."

What detail mattered to you more than you expected?

Tiana: "The 1 on 1 time my husband and I got together throughout the day, the venue itself being so private and accommodating for our wishes, and the vendors being able to work together so seamlessly on the day."

Did you have a honeymoon? If so, where did you go and what was the most memorable moment?

Tiana: " We went to Treetops Seaview in Montville for two nights. It was the perfect spot to unwind in stillness amongst the treetops in nature. We didn’t even have to leave the bed to admire the beautiful sunrise."

Any advice you'd love to share with couples currently planning their wedding?

Tiana: "Take special one on one time out for you and your loved one on the day, don’t sweat the small things, and communicate your wishes to people as much as you can before the day - this includes your bridal party, so that everyone can support you as best as possible. Remember to breathe and have fun (it truly does go so fast)!"

Thank You For Sharing

What stands out in Tiana and Luke’s interview isn’t extravagance, but how considered everything felt. There was space built into the day for them to slow down together, the flow stayed easy, and the moments away from everyone else ended up being the ones they valued most. It’s a simple reminder that when a wedding isn’t overworked, the parts that matter tend to rise to the surface, time together, connection, and everything feeling unforced.
