For this beautiful bride, her wedding at Somerset Dam was everything she had ever dreamed of — intimate, natural, and deeply personal. From watching the sunrise on the morning of her big day to slipping into a timeless Alena Leena gown, every detail reflected her effortless elegance and genuine heart. We had the absolute honour of creating her engagement ring and wedding band, and we loved being part of her journey from “yes” to “I do.”

Q: How did you feel waking up the morning of your wedding day?

A: "I was buzzing! It was a mixture of excitement and nerves - this day I had been waiting for was finally here! After not having much sleep the night before, I was up super early and watched the sun rise and had a nice quiet calm moment before the craziness of the day took over."

Q: Where did you get married; location and venue?

A: "We got married on a friend’s incredible property out at Somerset Dam. We camped on the property years ago and straight away knew that it was where we wanted to say “I do”".

Q: Tell us about your dress; what style did you choose and how did you feel in it?

A: "My dress was a strapless crushed satin dress by Alena Leena with hints of lace and lace gloves that I wore for the ceremony. I felt like a princess in my dress but I also felt like myself - it was understated with hints of romance from the lace detail". 

Q: What was your partner's reaction to seeing your dress and seeing you walk down the aisle? 

A: "He cried tears of joy."

Q: Do you have a favourite memory or standout moment from your wedding day?

A: "Having some time away from the party with our photographer and seeing our wedding from afar was pretty special."

Q: Tell us about your wedding bands — what do you love most about them?

A: "My engagement ring and wedding band by Morgan and Co are absolutely stunning. I love that they suit me perfectly and the design is timeless."

Q: What stood out most to you about working with Morgan & Co?

A: "I loved that the experience with Morgan & Co was so personal. Laura and Morgan were part of our wedding journey from the start, ever since I walked into their doors and we designed my gorgeous engagement ring together. In a world where everything is online, I loved the personal touch that Morgan and Co offered."

Q: Any advise you'd love to share with couples currently planning their wedding day?

A: "It’s a huge day so try and get us much help as you can and delegate as much as possible so that you can try and relax on the day. Also be sure to take time during your wedding to enjoy a quiet moment together because the day really flies by!"
