Ash-Lea & Zac's Love Story
We recently had the pleasure of assisting beautiful couple, Ash-Lea & Zac, with creating their new forever engagement ring — The Ash-Lea Ring, aw well as their wedding bands for their special day.

Q. “Was there anything in particular that drew you to work with us?”
A. “Through Zac’s business.”
Laura, one of our business owners, had the pleasure of meeting Zac at a job required at her home on the Sunshine Coast. Known for her warm and engaging nature, Laura struck up a conversation with Zac, delving into their respective lives. During their chat, Laura shared insights about her business, and it just so happened that Zac and his partner, Ash-Lea, were in the process of planning their wedding and seeking an upgrade for Ash-Lea's engagement ring. Subsequently, Zac visited our cosy studio in Buderim, where we transformed their dream jewellery into reality. Laura's exceptional talent for building connections extends to everyone she meets, as she wholeheartedly engages with their stories and aspirations.
Q. “Which ring did you choose/design for your forever piece, and why?”
A. “Classic six claw setting with a brilliant cut diamond, and a simple wedding band with half band diamonds. I wanted a design I’ll never get tired of.”

Q. “What was your favourite part of your Morgan & Co experience?”
A. “I wasn’t expecting much - we had a short timeline and I assumed we could create our wedding bands. But we were able to create a fresh engagement ring as well. The Morgan & Co team have made a beautiful environment to go through the process and make it feel special. There was no rushed feeling, and the ladies were wonderfully helpful.”

Q. “Tell us a little bit about your proposal.”
“Wow. About 9 years ago myself and Zac were about to start a new chapter in Mexico. We had a few days in Venice Beach CA before we flew down. One morning we rode our bikes to Santa Monica pier to check the surf and I was distracted looking out at the waves, Zac had pulled a ring out of his pocket (which he had sewn in for it not to fall out on the ride) and I turned around… and he asked me to marry him.”
