As one of the co-owners of a jewellery design studio in Buderim, I have the privilege of helping couples create rings that symbolise their love and commitment. It's a deeply personal and rewarding journey, one that I cherish being a part of.

Designing engagement rings and wedding bands in our jewellery studio in Buderim is not just about creating beautiful pieces; it's about capturing the essence of a couple's relationship and crafting something that reflects their unique bond. From the initial consultation to the final reveal, every step of the process is filled with excitement and anticipation.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of our work at Morgan & Co is getting to know each couple and understanding their story. This allows us to create designs that are not only visually stunning but also meaningful and significant to them. Whether it's incorporating a special gemstone or engraving a meaningful message, every detail is thoughtfully considered to ensure that the final piece is truly one-of-a-kind.

At our studio, we strive to make the experience as special and memorable as possible. We offer personalised consultations where couples can explore different designs, gemstones, and metals to create their perfect ring. Our goal is to not only meet, but exceed their expectations, leaving them with a timeless piece of jewellery that they will treasure for a lifetime.

The couple

At our studio, we strive to build lasting relationships with our clients, and one couple that stands out is Keiarna and Carter, who married in late 2023. From the moment we met, we hit it off, spending hours talking and getting to know them and their two boys. It was clear from the start that their love was genuine and their bond was strong.

The engagement ring

For Keiarna's engagement ring, we designed a stunning piece featuring an oval cut lab-grown diamond set in a half-round 14ct yellow gold band with a delicate four-claw setting. Carter selected the diamond and proposed with the loose stone, allowing Keiarna to be involved in the design process. It was a joy to help Keiarna bring her dream ring to life. You can read more about their proposal here

The wedding rings

Keiarna decided to have two wedding bands because... well, why not? For her first ring, we designed a simple flat profile wedding band in yellow gold, known as The Cigar Band. As for her eternity band, we created The Tokyo to complement her engagement ring perfectly. The Tokyo features a series of marquise diamonds set in yellow gold, arranged in an east to west orientation within a delicate setting.

Carter's wedding band was a traditional polished yellow gold half dome with engraving on the inside, commemorating their wedding date.

The venue and wedding planner

As Keiarna and Carter were planning to move their young family to Italy shortly after their wedding, they decided to have a short engagement and were married at the beautiful Rosewood Estate in the Gold Coast Hinterland. The secluded and spectacular estate provided the perfect backdrop for their special day, with panoramic views of the Gold Coast and the Numinbah Valley.

To help plan their big day, Keiarna and Carter used Panorama Events, a wedding planning business with over 12 years of experience. With Panorama Events taking care of the details, Keiarna and Carter were able to relax and enjoy their day knowing that everything was taken care of.

The Dress

Keiarna's dress is from KYHA Studios — modern wedding dresses characterised by a sleek, minimalistic aesthetic and innovative design. Rather than adhering to traditional styles, KYHA pushes boundaries and embraces uniqueness. Each KYHA piece seamlessly blends bridal wear with high fashion, allowing KYHA brides to feel at home both at the altar and on the red carpet. Every KYHA gown is custom-made for the bride, guaranteeing a completely unique look that is ideal for her special day.

Keiarna chose a sleek silk dress with a very low back which draped perfectly on her slender frame. It had a lovely V neck front and was modern, yet classic and looked beyond perfect on her.

Keirna's veil was from Grace Loves Lace — Crafted from ivory tulle and brought to life with floating floral detail cascading down around the edge of the veil, the veil was inspired by the design of the Pierlot gown. The hand-placed embroidery features 68 romantic florals artfully placed on the veil.

Being a part of Keiarna and Carter's wedding journey has been an absolute pleasure for us at Morgan & Co. Creating their forever rings was not just about crafting beautiful pieces of jewellery; it was about being involved in a chapter of their love story. Keiarna's engagement ring and their wedding bands symbolise the commitment and love they share, and we are honoured to have played a role in bringing their vision to life. As they embark on this new chapter in Italy, we wish them a lifetime of love, joy, and adventure, knowing that their rings will forever carry the story of their beautiful beginning.
